I have seamlessly cut out musical phrases, interludes, and even entire stanzas from songs. I use it when I trim/blend pre-existing music. Use Audacity (Free) or any audio editor (along with SFP).to overlay sound effects to achieve the perfect blend of background and sound FX! Totally agree! Audacity is one of my must-have tools. I've never used it for sound effects, only music. I got started with it because it interfaced with the NLE (video editor) tool I use. ![]()
